On Sunday, May 18, 2008, Good Samaritan Hospital began operation of the former Dayton Heart Hospital, located at 707 S. Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Dayton.

With this change comes a new name: Dayton Heart Hospital is now Dayton Heart & Vascular Hospital, Owned and Operated by Good Samaritan Hospital.

We want to assure you that there will be absolutely no disruption in service. Dayton Heart & Vascular Hospital patients will not see any changes in the outstanding care they receive. Patients will continue to benefit from the top-ranked care that has been delivered by this hospital for nearly ten years.

Patients also will have the increased confidence of knowing that Dayton Heart & Vascular Hospital is now supported by the award-winning services of a full service, acute care hospital – Good Samaritan Hospital.
